The poster session “Brutal Act of Time: Brutalism in Japan from Within and Without” for the 16th International Docomomo Conference (August 29-September 2, 2021) is now available.
It traces the process by which the British “New Brutalism” was read into the world history term “Brutalism” in the 1950s and 60s.
